Lelystad. Jaimie broke his thumb one week
prior to the race during a practice session
at Spa.

Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden has
clinched the Dutch Supermoto title in
Lelystad last weekend. Maik started the day
with an advantage of seven points on Marc
Fraikin. In the first moto Maik crashed
after the first corner and had to come back
through the field.

in Mettet 11-10
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden had a
successful weekend at the 25th edition of
the VOO Superbiker in Mettet. 266 riders
were in for the race. On Friday Maik set the
fastest time of all 266 riders and on Sunday
he finished fifth in the supermoto final.

Open in de Wijk 13-09
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden finished
on the podium at round ten of the Dutch Open
Championship Supermoto Series in de Wijk
last Sunday. It wasn’t his best race of the
season but he still managed to finished
third overall with a 4-3 in the motos.
Jaimie van Sikkelerus rode a great race in
de Wijk.

Supermoto in Joure 06-09
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden finished
second overall at round nine of the Dutch
Open Supermoto Championship Series in Joure
last weekend. In the muddy circumstances
Maik did a great job and managed to win the
first moto. In the second moto he was
leading again but he crashed and finally
finished the race in third position.

Open Supermoto in Lelystad 30-08
Maik Voorwinden and Jaimie van Sikkelerus of Team Voorwinden have
won round eight of the Dutch Open Supermoto Series in Lelystad.
Maik Voorwinden took the overall by the inters by winning both motos.
Jaimie van Sikkelerus won the national class with a 2-1 moto score.

Open in Holten 16-08
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden has taken a moto win at round
seven of the Dutch Open Championship Series at Holten. In the first
moto he didn’t took a good start and it took him a long time to
close the gap to the three leaders. When he finally got there, he
had no time to make a pass stick and finished the race in fourth
position.

Maik Voorwinden of
Team Voorwinden has had some bad luck at round four of the German
Supermoto Championship Series in Dortmund. In the first moto he took
a good start but in the offroad section he made a mistake and
crashed. Maik came back strong and finished the race in 13th
position. After the finish he got a penalty because he had passed a
pion on the wrong side. Because of this he was classified in 18th
position.

Voorwinden takes fifth consecutive podium
finish in Hellendoorn 20-06
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden has
scored his fifth consecutive podium finish
at round six of the Dutch Open Supermoto
Championship Series at Hellendoorn last
Sunday. In the beginning of the race he
worked himself back up to second position
but when the pace got to high he lost two
positions and finally finished the race in
fourth position.

Open in Valkenswaard 16-06
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden has won
the first moto at round five of the Dutch
Open Supermoto Championship Series at
Valkenswaard. In the first moto he took the
holeshot and controlled the race till the
chequered flag waved. In the second moto he
was battling for the win again but
unfortunately he made a mistake going into a
corner and stalled his bike.

Team Voorwinden has had a good learning
experience at round three of the German
Supermoto Championship Series in Sankt
Wendel. Maik Voorwinden couldn’t avoid a
fallen rider at the start of the first moto
and crashed also. He came back strong but
because of another he crash he finished the
race in 16th position.

in Lelystad 31-05
Maik Voorwinden and Jaimie van Sikkelerus of
Team Voorwinden has won the fourth round of
the Dutch Open Championship Supermoto Series
in Lelystad last Sunday. Maik Voorwinden had
a great battle in both motos and took the
overall with a third position in the first
moto and a win in the second moto. Jaimie
van Sikkelerus was riding in the national
class and won both motos to take the
overall.

the IDM in Lichtenberg 24-05
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden finished
in seventh position at round two of the
German Championship Series at Lichtenberg.
In the first moto Maik was riding in tenth
position when he crashed and hurt his foot.
Because of the pain he decided to retire
from the race. In the second moto he was
riding a consistent race and finished in
seventh position.

Voorwinden second in Dutch Open Supermoto Series in Boekel 17-05
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden finished
second overall at round three of the Dutch
Open Supermoto Series at Boekel. In the
first moto he struggled to find his rhythm
and finished in fourth position. In the
second moto things went a lot better with
the rider from Berkel en Rodenrijs and after
a consistent race he finished in second
position.

Voorwinden takes a moto win at the Dutch Open in Zelhem 09-05
Maik Voorwinden of Team Voorwinden has won a
moto at the second race of the Dutch Open
Supermoto Championship Series at Zelhem. In
the first moto he was leading the race for a
long time till Marc Fraikin passed him. Maik
knew that Fraikin had made a jumpstart and
that he got a penalty of 30 seconds. He rode
smart in the second part of the race and
finished in second position.

Team Voorwinden had a successful first round
of the Dutch Open Championship Supermoto
Series at Lelystad. Maik Voorwinden had a
great battle for the win but crashed and
finished in fourth position.
Jaimie van Sikkelerus was riding in the
national class. He took the holeshot and won
the race.

Team Voorwinden ready for the start of the
season
Team
Voorwinden is ready for the start of the
season. The first race for the team is the
first round of the Dutch Open Championship
Series at Lelystad on April 10th. The team
had a good preparation and is motivated to
do well in the series.Maik will go out in
the inter class. Last year he won several
races and finished third overall. This year
he wants more but the level is high so he
will give everything he has to score as many
points as possible.
Jaimie van
Sikkelerus was a youth rider last year and
will move up to the national class this
year. Jaimie had a great winter and is
looking forward to the new season.
